The Burger with Pepperoni Pizzas for Buns

It’s the choice that we all have to face, sooner or later. Do you want to eat a burger, or do you want to eat a personal-sized pepperoni pizza? What if I told you that you didn’t have to subject yourself to this particular brand of fat-kid Sophie’s choice, ever again? What if I told you that, finally, you can have it all?

Behold, the burger that doesn’t force you to choose: A perfect griddled cheeseburger, with entire mini pepperoni pizzas for buns. We use a regular kaiser roll, split and spread with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and miniature pepperoni, toast it under the broiler until the cheese melts, then dress the burger simply with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, and some raw white onion.

Don’t make this burger because you’re hungry. Don’t even make it because it’s delicious. Do it simply because YOU CAN.

It’s decadent. It’s messy. It’s a godamned burger with pizzas for buns. And that’s as much as anyone should talk about it.
